the unsafe sources. But that is not enough. Keep in mind, your child is short.

hands and knees. That will allow you to find electrical products which are
within easy reach of your kid.

Cords

cords are used to increase the range of electrical outlets. Here are some
safety tips:
Check cords regularly cracks, kinks, or frays. And try to
keep cords in good condition;
Don’t use cords as clothes lines, leashes, jump ropes and
anything else other than the intended purpose;
Never use cords beneath rugs; covering a cord will prevent
it from keeping cool as possible;
When unplugging a cord, don’t tug on the cord itself; pull
on the cord at the outlet;
Keep cords out of the reach of your kids, especially cords on hot items such as hair dryers, irons, and kettles.

Pay attention to large electrical appliances
Dishwashers, tumble dryers, washing machines and some other
large machines present frightening temptations for kids that could climb
inside. And that is very dangerous.
When you don’t use these appliances, unplug it and cover the
outlet with a safety cap.
Keep the door closed and try to prevent doors being opened
by young children. You can try to choose appliances with child lock function.
And you can try to use baby cabinet locks or straps too.
Keep water away from any electrical consoles
Water spilt over computers, sky boxes, DVD player, game
consoles and other electrical items will destroy them. And not only that, your
kid may receive an electric shock.
After bathing or washing hands, some children run to the TV
or other electrical items quickly to switch them. It is dangerous. That could
lead to electrical shock or injury. So it is important to always keep your kids
dry before they have access to any electrical items.
What to do if electrical accidents happen
If an electrical accident happens, the first thing you must
do is to disconnect the power supply. Don’t touch them until you are sure the
power supply is turned off!! If it is in wet areas, such as a bathroom, you
must be more careful. So everyone in the
family must know how to turn off the power at the control panel. And you must
ensure there is nothing in front of the control panel anytime.
If you cannot turn off the power, you can use dry rope, dry
clothing or some wood objects to separate the victim from the power source. So
some wood objects at home may be helpful.
